Eeppi Ursin

Eeppi Ursin is a singer/songwriter from southern Finland. She mainly focuses in her own band performing under her name. She also writes all her songs and lyrics herself (except for 2 tracks on her debut album Violet) Eeppi is currently working on preproduction with her second album which is due to be released 2007.
She also performs with other groups such as:

Warp! has moods from jazz, pop and contemporary classical music. The compositions are mainly written by the band leader pianist Aki Rissanen and lyrics by Eeppi Ursin. Other musicians are Verneri Pohjola on the trumpet and Joonas Riippa on drums. Warp! released their debut album entitled "One Note Stories" 2005
Castafioren Korut is a quartet led by three female singers Riikka Timonen, Ira Kaspi and Eeppi Ursin. The fourth musician is Timo Kämäräinen playing the guitar and occasionally singing with the girls.

Soi Ensemble is led by guitarist Kalle Kalima . This folkish type of music is sung in Finnish by three female singers Johanna Iivanainen, Merzi Rajala and Eeppi Ursin . Other instruments are played by Mongo Aaltonen percussions, Riikka Lampinen cello and Mikko Helevä organ. All lyrics are from the pen of Essi Kalima. Their second studio album Koiperhonen was released 2006
