Hello my name is Amy Yosmali, I am a native of Greater Cincinnati and have been an art lover all my life. My interest in art began with music and has since grown to encompass the visual arts. I am both a student and practitioner of the visual arts and strive to successfully combine the utilitarian aspects of art with the purely aesthetic in my work as a professional Web designer and Computer Instructor. Although work as a Web designer and Computer Instructor has been both rewarding and artistically challenging, it wasn’t until recently that I began to explore visual arts, especially painting, as a medium of self-expression.
Vibrant colors and active movement are important features of my art, even as I continue to experiment with new forms and techniques. I continues to paint in studio 218 at the Essex Studios what moves and speaks to me.
