About Me

www.campbethel.comI graduated from East Tennessee State Univ. I I am working at Camp Bethel Ministries in Wise VA... Check out www.campbethel.com I know God has a plan for each of us (Acts 17) and am excited to pursue and see what He has in store for Himself through me. In any case I am sure it will be amazing!!! I know this is kinda short but I would rather you ask me questions rather than getting to know me by some profile. So feel free to message me with anything that you would like to know or just for random chat. Ohhh and sorry my pics on here are a little old, I think there are some more recent ones posted by my friends on facebook.I am going to vent a bit to the "christians". I was preparing for church tomorrow and started thinking... How often do we pray for our friends… I mean really pray for our lost friends? If you truly love someone the way you are taught throughout the bible to love shouldn't you be praying for their salvation, and for opportunities to share this "good news" (Jn 3:14-21) we claim to be living for? What is it that makes this so difficult? I mean seriously, God is, was, and will always be. He created Heaven and Earth. He is eternity. He loves us in the greatest and in the most perfect ways possible! He loves us even with all our flaws, our mediocrity, our sin that fills our hearts, minds, and separates us from Him. Take peter for example. Peter denied Jesus at the time he was actually at the cross. Jesus was being crucified in order that Peter (and ourselves) could have an eternity in the presence of God (Heaven). Jesus accomplished the single most loving act in all of history and Peter denied to even know Him. Much like we do daily as we live our lives. Daily we go through our lives just getting by and fitting in. Sure, we want to be "good", but are we truly confessing the "Good News" with our actions, in our conversations, in our minds, and in our hearts daily? Are we living for Jesus with the burning passion that we so often sing of when we are comfortable in the presence of other "Christians?" Are you living in a way that others are moved by the desire you have to serve your Lord and Savior? If we truly know how Good this Good News really is, why can't others see it in our lives?
