Reading, nice hotel rooms (Vegas and San Diego ruined me) I love the Beach... I could listen to the ocean forever, I will definitely make it to Paris one day (I know they have classes for fear of flying), History (it was my first major), camping, the forests, my family and letting them know from this point forward how important they are to me, coloring with Haylee and playing basketball with Andrew, SHOPPING (retail therapy really does work!), scrapbooking... my credit card company could not thank Jodi and Mandi enough, taking the boat out with the family to the lake, I could really go on and on.... THEY WERE SOOOOOOO GOOD!!!
Hopefully I get a chance to meet God.... I have tons of questions.
I like all types of music. Country is my favorite. I went to a Kenny Chesney concert once in the third row and he looked straight at me and we had a moment... LOL... Dont be jealous! I absolutely love Tom Petty even though he could quite possibly be one of the ugliest men on earth. I am not embarassed to say that I am a huge fan of the 80s.
French Kiss and Dirty Dancing are my all time favorites!! They always make me think of the good ole days with Mandi. I am a HUGE fan of Disney. Beauty and the Beast is my favorite. I loved all the Lord of the Rings. Anything with romance/comedy will work for me.I Love These Boys!!!
The only shows I have watched beginning to end are Dawson's Creek and October Road. I am sooooo tired of reality tv. It's old. The only one I watch is American Idol. I think Samantha Who is pretty entertaining and I am excited to get Grey's Anatomy back. My tv is pretty much on Disney Channel so I would have to say I like Hannah Montana and The Suite Life. This is what happens when you have children. We watch a lot of Animal Planet and Discovery Channel too. Andrew loves Dirty Jobs.
The Robert Jordan series (its sci-fi/fantasy) I call them my reality reliefs. I can honestly say that I do read the Bible almost regularly. I read a lot on raising children... I can always use some pointers with the two I have... LOL... seriously the people that know me, know exactly what I am talking about. I LOVE to read!! Reading is one of the most important things I want my children to enjoy. A book that I recommend reading, I just finished not too long ago, is "The Last Lecture" by Randy Pausch. It made me cry for quite a while. Definitely puts things into perspective....
My "Little" BrotherMy Cousin RyanMy Cousin JoeMy brother Chris has served in Afghanistan in 2006 - 2007 and he is currently in Irag, right in friggen' Sadr City. There is not a minute that goes by that we don't think of him and miss him. I admire his courage and can't stand to think of him scared. My cousin Ryan is currently back in Washington. He has served two tour of duties in Iraq and in 2007 he was injured in a roadside bomb. He lost a good friend and they all say that is the hardest part these guys have to deal with. My cousin Joe is also currently in Iraq. He is heading home on May 25, 2008. We are so excited! We will have 2 out of 3 on American soil... for a while anyways. You can only imagine what my famiy goes through each and every day. We only stay hopeful and thankful and say a silent prayer that they will all return home safe and sound in the end. Our hearts go out to all the families of all the soldiers....
