About Me

I'm Mark. I'm a pretty down to earth guy. I'm content with life as long as I'm happy. I spend my money as fast as I earn it, sometimes faster. Trying to change that, though. I come from a really close family, and I thank God for that cuz I had a blast growing up (not that I'm a grown-up or anything). I like to get my hands dirty. I take S10's, pull out the little engines that they came with, and replace them with bigger ones. It's a fever, and the only prescription is more cow-bell... I mean more horsepower. See below video. I was kind of a bookworm in junior high, and I never outgrew it. I love to read. No complaints, it has greatly much made beter my gramer skils. If George RR Martin kills off ONE more of my favorite characters, I'm going to email him a grenade or something. I'm serious, Martin, don't test me.

Music:

My favorite is probably Sublime. Other favs are greenday, 311, beastie boys, G3. I grew up around classic rock cuz my dad played guitar his whole life, from the time he was like 13 till the day he died, so I'll always love that... zeppelin, black sabbath, pink floyd, ufo, stuff like that. I can remember getting woken up on the weekends by my dad ripping these insane guitar solos through a marshall full stack in his bedroom. It was like the ultimate alarm clock... just sucked when there was nowhere in the house you could go to get away from it. I miss that a lot. I haven't heard any new bands that I really like for quite a while, its like everything new is this annoying "angry rock" that all sounds the same to me. No solo's, a lot of yelling, and just not much to set it apart from everything else.

Books:

I love to read. My favorite series is "A Song of Ice and Fire" I'm just afraid the guy's going to die before he finishes writing them all, it's taking FOREVER. Michael Crichton is another author I like a lot, and I really enjoyed Robin Hobb's books.
