Hake & Jarema

There is two kinds of music, the good and bad. I play the good kind. ~ Louis Armstrong

About Me

-We are Bill Hake & Matt Jarema A.K.A. Hake & Jarema Acoustic Duo ....sometimes solo, occasionally trio, sometimes quartet, sometimes a big ole mess of craziness known as "The Hake & Jarema Social Aid & Pleasure Club". -We play the classic hits of yesteryear, songs we really like, tunes you know, a few you might not know(but should), and some we don't know that we know, until we play them. Our playlist is made up of over 500 songs spanning many genres of music, including classic rock, blues, folk, soul, funk, classic country, bluegrass, pop, and everything in between. We gladly take requests and generally play anything the crowd wants to hear if we can pull it off. We got together in early 2000, after having been college acquaintances at WCU. Since our formation we've played more than a thousand gigs in various bars, clubs, restaurants, weddings, backyards, and basements across Pennsylvania and Delaware. Our home base is West Chester, PA, a town that is also home to many fine ladies, some great musicians, artists & chefs, and a music-loving audience. We really love what we do and we've made many great friends throughout this trip. Check out our schedule and come see us sometime. Thanks for stopping by our space. -Bill & Matt
