ZERO FRACTAL is a three-piece band hailing from Athens, Greece. Antony, Emmanuel and Stelios first got together on a hot summer day of 2004 in order to test their skills in blowing people’s minds away with their pure and simple guitar rock/pop sounds. They would describe their sound as a back-to-basics rock venture into the very well known but neglected styles of music making. Rhythm/lead guitars, bass, and drums make up the creative universe of Zero Fractal who have definitely been influenced by bands like The Pixies or the Smashing Pumkins as well as The Smiths or Massive Attack. Nonetheless, they are not interested in regurgitating the “good old†sounds of the past, but rather creating tunes as if those groups had never existed… The group has already written more than 50 songs, for many of which it has received very encouraging and warm comments across the European continent as well as overseas. The lyrics treat life, death, or the realms in-between (!), always celebrating or denouncing the human condition in an ironic (or not) tone, always dealing with emotional/psychological predicaments, things that make you laugh or make you cry.
