About Me

I'm a little bit of good and a little bit of bad. I'm a good person. I obviously love movies. I hate flaky people. I love people with imagination. My favorite flavor of ice cream is vanilla because you can add so many things to it and make it better, but it's also great by itself. My favorite color is yellow. I love anything to do with the entertainment industry. It's the one place where royalty and the dregs of society can come together and share ideas and philosophy. I'd rather be behind the camera than in the front and I usually end up like the guy pulling all the levers behind The Great Oz.I don't know what else to say. Ask me and I'll tell you.

My Interests

Watching movies, making movies, dreaming up movies and pretty much anything visually stimulating...photography, art, etc. I love composition and take an interest in the unique way things are framed

I'd like to meet:

George Washington, Evil Knievel, Abraham Lincoln, Mohammad Ali, Dylan Thomas and anyone who is talented and charismatic

Music:

The Beatles, James Taylor, Johnny Cash, Nina Simone, Nick Drake, Velvet Underground, Jimmy Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Ella Fitzgerald, Kid Ramos, Muddy Waters and anything from Radiohead

Movies:

The Graduate, A place in the Sun (Elizabeth Taylor at the height of her beauty), Whose Afraid of Virginia Wolfe (Elizabeth Taylor showed she had chops), Midnight Cowboy, Alice in Wonderland, Blazing Saddles, Blue Velvet, The Ninth Configuration, Time Bandits, Dog Day Afternoon, Easy Rider, Fallen Angels, "The Good, The Bad, The Ugly," The Idol Maker, Knight Riders, Empire Strikes Back, The Matrix, Melvin and Howard, Millers Crossing, The Natural, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Ordinary People(mary tyler moore the ultimate villian), Raging Bull, Reefer Madness, True Romance, Rosmary's Baby, The Exorcist (still the scariest movie of all time), Shawshank Redemption, Full Metal Jacket, Stunt Man, Alien, Trainspotting, Unforgiven, The Wanderers, The Wild Bunch, Dawn of the Dead (new version - opening 15 minutes of the movie is amazing), Dead Ringers (love the ending it's twisted - Cronenberg's best work) but not the History of Violence, Angel Heart, Deconstucting Harry, Dirty Dozen, anything Clint Eastwood is in, The Godfather I and II, The Hustler (Paul Newman in his finest Hour), The Great Texas Dynamite chase (one of the greatest "B" movies of all time - two hot chicks robbing banks...it doesn't get much cooler than that), Jaws (I still can't go swimming by myself), Leaving Las Vegas, The Long Good-Bye and any of my movies

Television:

Bah Bah Blacksheep, Happy Days...oh oh present day...Dream On, Sopranos, Law and Order...anything on Discovery Channel or A&E, Two and a Half Men, Deadwood, Medium, I don't really watch much television

Books:

Great Expectations, American Tragedy, Mice and Men, In Cold Blood, mobey dick, The miracle of mindfulness. The written word is one of the most important things out there and I'm jealous of anyone can write

Heroes:

My mom and dad...basically my whole family for putting up with all my sh*t, Ghandi, Ceaser Chavez, Martin Luther King Jr., and all the people who have practiced non-violence to further their cause
