My Interests

Music (see below), art (especially surrealism, german and austrian expressionism, cubism, sculpture), favorite artists include Duchamp, Dali, Rodin, Schiele, Grosz, Man Ray, Beardsley, Giacometti, Brancusi, Kahlo, Kokoschka, Dix, Kandinksy, and most of all, my grandfather's paintings/drawings, I love to work with charcoal and pastels and am now learning oil painting, I also like photography, graphic design, love love love traveling (next stop? Australia!), playing guitar and the piano, dancing, great food/wine, cooking, being outside, movies, yoga, meditation, jogging, vegetarianism, reading, animals, plants/gardening, restoring furniture, genealogy (ancestry includes french, german, swiss and native american), sewing, exploring life, ahimsa, making everyday count, challenging myself, meeting people, laughter, laughing and being a goofball, energy of all living things, and awareness.
