My Interests

Photography, screenwriting, blogging, poetry, travelling, cooking, meeting interesting people

I'd like to meet:

I love meeting eclectic, talented, goal oriented people who have dreams that they want to realize. People who are motivated, who want to find their purpose in life. People who do not accept the status quo. People who believe in unity and love through diversity.

Unless I have personally met you, I am not accepting your friend request without a proper introduction.

Music:

I love a wide variety of music. One of my favorite places in the world is Amoeba Music in Hollywood. I could get lost in there. I have an extreme love of classic jazz, classic rock, classic soul, and classic hip hop. I guess you could agree that I love the classics. Music to me is the key of life. It trascends generations, it moves the soul, and controls my passion. I simply love good music. I might bop my head to dance grooves and booty shake, but my mind only buys the music that feeds my soul. Like Bob Marley said, "one good thing about music, when it hits you feel no pain."

Movies:

Top 10Casablanca The Empire Strikes Back The Godfather II The Toy Fast Times At Ridgemont High City of God Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels Dazed and Confused Hud Snatch

Television:

The Wire The Sopranos South Park The Daily Show Fox Soccer Channel Lost Old SNL episodes

Books:

I love reading. Just like with music, I love the classics. I also enjoy biographies and books about world history. Many of my favorite books are written by James Baldwin, James Joyce, Norman Mailer, Charles Dickens, Paolo Coelho, and Mario Puzo.

Heroes:

Che Guevara Jimi Hendrix Malcolm X My Parents My Sister Robert F. Kennedy Jomo Kenyatta Arthur Ashe Peace Corps Volunteers Relief Workers Survivors
