About Me

Before recording this album, Skander Guetari used to play in different bands. For him, this was a great opportunity to explore different musical styles of artists like the Beatles, Santana. The music Skander writes is particularly influenced by Latino, Oriental and Jazz. As he is always open to new and stimulating musical experiences, he adds in his songs different sounds from all over the world. This album reflects what Skander likes in music, a tonic and expressive mixture of melodies, rhythms and personality.Skander has been recently awarded in the PMC 2007 contest as a composer. He has also been awarded during the Tunisian Music Award with his band Samsa. He has also composed songs for Samsa, AgnÃ¨s Villani, Raphaelle Dess, Abir Nasraoui, Naziha Meftah, Helin, Samah,
