The Gate is an up and coming venue in Horseheads, NY. It is welcome to everyone, though it is more appropriate for ages 12-30.
The Generation Against The Enemy exists to extend the hands of Christ into a broken world, expelling the darkness with God's marvelous light and creating a bridge to an unhindered knowledge of the Gospel. We seek to introduce the saving power of Christ to the upcoming generation through an engaging, multimedia experience designed to build relationships between our family and this generation.
The Gate's opening event was featured on Oct 21, 2006, by over 250 young adults and teens. Since then we have been hosting shows and other events at a once a month status.
As of now it features live music, live art during the headlining band, free merch giveaways, and a cafe/snack bar; but is not limited to that.
We are always looking for new ideas for the Gate...If anyone has any ideas on new bands to bring in or otherwise please message us or call the GT office.
