Grubun hikâyesi 2001 yilinda Mehmet’in Harun’la tanismasiyla basladi. Bir dönem Eskisehirli rock gruplariyla çalisan ikili kisa zamanda kendi gruplarini kurma karari aldi. Yeni Harman dergisinin dogrudan etkisiyle grubun adi bulunmus oldu. Harun ve Mehmet Ocak 2003’te, üç parçadan olusan ilk demo cd’lerini dagittilar. Mart 2004’te Aykut’un, ayni yilin Nisan ayinda da Onat’in gruba katilmasiyla yeniHarman aktif müzik hayatina basladi. Eylül 2005’te Yasin’in dahil olmasiyla kadro tamamlanmis oldu. yeniHarman, bir yandan Eskisehir, Ankara ve Istanbul’un popüler barlarinda çalmaya baslarken, bir yandan da hizla kendi bestelerini yapmaya devam etti. Çesitli üniversite senliklerinde boy gösterdiler ve kisa sürede Sebnem Ferah ve Mogollar gibi önemli müzisyenlerle ayni sahneyi paylastilar. Ekim 2005’te katildiklari 7. Battle of the Bands’den ikincilik ödülüyle döndüler . Esas çikislari ise 11. Tuborg Roxy Müzik Günleri’nde kazandiklari Birincilik’le gerçeklesti. Ayni yarismada Tuborg Özel Ödülü’nü de kucakladilar ve bu dönemin ardindan çok daha fazla dikkat çekmeye basladilar. yeniHarman Yedikule Zindanlarinda düzenlenen Tuborg Alive 3’te ve Zeytinli Rock Festivali’nde sahne alarak müzigini

Mehmet and Harun performed with rock groups of eskisehir for a while, and then they decided to establish their own band. witht the direct effect of the magazine ' yeniharman' , the band's name was found. In january 2003,Harun and Mehmet distributed their first demo cd including three songs.Aykut(in march 2004) Onat (in appril 2004)joined the band. And "yeniharman" has started their active music carrier.in september 2005,with the joining of Yasin ,the band was done."yeniharman", performed in popular bars in eskisehir, ankara and istanbul,also, they continued to make their own songs.they have joined

variety of university fests. and in a very short time they shared the same stages with the great musicians ,such as sebnem ferah and mogollar. in october 2005 they placed at the 2nd rank in the 7th battle of the bands.Their main start was the winner award of 11th .tuborg roxy music days. in the same competition they won the tuborg special award and then they have begun to salient."yeniharman", lastly, shared it's music with very wide range of people at the tuborg alive 3 and zeytinli rock fest.Now they are working on own songs and first lp...
