About Me

Lindsey has always known she was meant to be a singer. She's always loved to sing on camera and do karoake at family parties. Lindsey's earliest singing venue was for her church choir at the age of 12, often singing solos. She competed against many fellow chorus students for a solo in her 7th grade musical, winning the part and taking her place in the hearts of all those there to listen to her voice. In college, Lindsey was chosen to sing on the Festival of Praise Team which is a group made up of 3 singers and 5 instrumentalists. Thousands of people from all over came to hear them perform; Lindsey recorded her first cd with this group. After college, she worked with a advisor affiliated with Columbia Records, this advisor also worked with record labels in Nashville. While working with this advisor, Lindsey fine-tuned her gift of singing. She spent many hours in the studio working to develop her voice, and pushing to be the best she could be. Two years ago, Lindsey performed on Cox Cable Channel 13; She performed Sara McLaughlin's "Angel". Lindsey also sang "The Star Spangled Banner" and "God Bless America" at the Naturalization of Citizens Ceremony; held at Veterans Memorial Auditorium one year ago. Lindsey is often found participating in local karoake contests. Lastly, she has just recorded a demo of cover songs. The musical genre of her demo ranges from country to jazz, with one light rock song.

Music:

Influences: Lindsey's first musical influence was her amazing grandmother, Monique Belisle. She was an entertainer and a performer all her life. Monique's music was heard on the radio, and can be found in The Smithsonian Institute in Washington, D.C. Another influence to Lindsey was her great-uncle Tony Tomasso; an phenominal trumpet player. Tony played alongside Louis Armstrong at venues, he had great humility and unbelievable talent. Recently Lindsey attended the Alexa Ray Joel concert and found it to be the most moving concert she has ever been to. Alexa plays and sings from her heart, she portrays such emotion when she sings. Lindsey had the pleasure of meeting her, Alexa loves her fans and takes the time to get to know them before and after she sings. She has greatly inspired me. Lindsey's father, a singer himself has taught Lindsey so much about music. Singing duests with him has meant so much to her. He greatly believes in her and knows she has what it takes to make it. Other influences include Clay Aiken, Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Martina McBride, Tim McGraw, Sarah McLaughlan, John Mayer, Switchfoot, Lee Ann Rimes, Ray Charles, Taylor Swift, Jewel, and Kellie Pickler.
Sounds Like: Lindsey's sound is a mix of country, pop, jazz, light rock, and soul.
