Kickin' Ass on the Mild Side..C.D RELEASE 12/16/06

About Me

Me (J. Crypt) and Al Paris make up 1/2 of Cleveland's premier glam era tribute band '1988'.I mentioned to Paris that I wanted to reconstruct some of the cool songs from the late 80's/early 90's (Bon Jovi, Cinderella, Crue, Aerosmith, GNR, and Warrant) and basically strip them down to piano and vocals with a subtle string arrangement. ....Quite frankly, once you get rid of the caked on make-up, ostentacious hair statements, circulation compromising spandex, and multiple overdubs....you're left with some really catchy, well constructed compositions. This is basically what you'll get on our first release, 'KICKIN' ASS ON THE MILD SIDE'. One piano....One voice....nine songs, and a total of 19 studio hours to complete....This by coincidence is the same amount of time that it took Bret Michaels to record the first line of 'Nothin' But a Good Time'....and it still blows!Contact at [email protected] for ordering information.1.
