Jesus Rocks 4Bo

- About myself, I'm a 43 year old Christian Hard Rock/Heavy Metal fan. Note the Christian part. I've been a hardrock fan most of my life, only recently discovered Christian rockmusic. (For a big part thanks to my dear friend Bo, please see my blog on 2006) When I was younger, I didn't mind what kind of metal I listened to, but now, I tend to look only at Christian bands. I do not renounce Rock music as a whole, it's just that I want to be able to have a good feeling when I am listening to music.. and I cannot have that good feeling when the lyrics (or the bands general disposition) is utterly anti-Christian. It's not that I am not strong enough to resist the temptations, but it just doen't feel good..I play bass-guitar in two church-bands. One is in my own church, Baptistengemeente "De Hoeksteen" (The cornerstone) and the other band belngs to a youth-church, called MXMM. In the Cornerstone, we just accompany the singing, where the MXMM-band is more a performance-band. We try to get te message through by means of the music. (http://www.mxmm.org). One more thing, if you'd like to be added, please remember that I am Christian and a bass-player.. if there is no connection between us, I just will not add.. I am also an avid photographer. I'll shoot anything that catches my eye, ranging from landscapes to people. Just wished I had the guts to ask people to pose for me. But maybe one day.. Thanx.
