And then, then there's Barbarella............... ~sighs~
Television:
Dont really watch too much, ROME was damn fine, and I have an addiction to Battlestar Galactica , which, thankfully, down to the magical thing called bit torrent I can follow at my own speed and also not have to wait a stupid amount of time for it to be shown on British airwaves (you cant tell me there is a valid reason why we should be a season behind on most things?!?!?!), I still retain my child like glee when watching Doctor Who as well. If, however, it is mindless programing designed to turn the brain to a vegtable like soup consistency (ie 99% of all daytime and midweek t.v schedueling), I am not interested. Frankly, you can stick your Hollyoaks and Cant Cook wont Cook up your arse
Still catch the occasional South park and enjoy any well written comedy (Black Books, Spaced and the Vicar of Dibbley~!~), but I mostly tend to watch random discovery channel and natural history programs if anything, Ray Mears and Michael Palin, Horizon and the Sky at Night....................bow down!
Did I mention I dont watch that much Television? Hmmmmm, I probably watch more than I think ~looks thoughtful~ But at least there is a degree of quality control there...........
Still, this just about sums it all up for me
By the way, does anybody actualy read these things? The first person to comment wins a signed pair of Jose Domingo underpants (partialy soiled) as sponsoreed by Dumpytex......................
Books:
Herbert, Asimov and Phillip K Dick. I read constantly, and those are the three Authors that stay at the front of my mind. Obviously there is a loophole when it come's to Terry Pratchet ~!~
Anything relating to Neil Gaiman, the Sandman especialy. Alan Moore continues to push things out thereI also still read 2000ad (What can I say, I've read it since I was 5 and yeah its a comic, but it's grown up with me as much as I've grown up with it, you have a problem with that? Deal with it)
