Et in Arcadia ego - a phrase, which is taken from a Greek legend where it was used as a grave inscription to remind people that although everything seems to be great, things like sorrow and death also exist. The band was pretty impressed by the legend's philosophy and so they decided to name themselves after it...
INARCADIA - founded in early 2007 by five hardcore passionate friends, who would like to act out their greatest passion in their lives - music - loud and heavy. Since this moment they're working ambitiously on new songs in order to express their emotions and beliefs.
Delivering an explosive mixture of fast, melodic and modern metal combined with crushing hardcore rhythms, Inarcadia delights with a passionate and dynamic stage performance. This raw energy aligned with powerful and intense hardcore music is a big character of the band.

Hey guys thx for stopping by...
Sorry for the long absinence in our diary section, but we had a lot to do in the last 2 months. So here are some news for you:
As you might heard we finally have a new song up on our myspace. A really big thanks to Johannes from the red room soundlab records. He did a great job and we're very satisfied with it - hope you like it too! We also posted the lyrics - so next time we wanna hear you scream with us ;)
The next point concerns our merchandise. We're very proud to tell you that we sold nearly everything. So we wanna say thank you to each and everyone who bought something!
But don`t panic...
We're ordering some new stuff with an awesome design done by the amazing guys from azrael design. They already worked with bands like caliban, shai hulud, heaven shall burn and many more!
We're really excited and looking forward to the end-result!
A few shows for the next months are already confirmed, so it would be great to see you there, hanging out with us and party.

THIS WAS THE YEAR 2007 FOR US & OUR PLANS IN 2008!

Hey lads,
It's about 5 months ago, since we played our first show and things are running pretty good for us at the moment. We started with a won bandcontest in August and played lots of great shows with some great bands and now we're really looking forward to 2008! A few shows for 2008 are already fixed - maybe we'll play even in your region - so check out our dates. Hopefully we'll see each other on the road ;)
Beneath playing shows we have also planned some more things for early 2008 like recording two more songs with our friend Thomas in February and designing some new merch! We're also planning to record our first demo in the middle of 2008. More information concerning our first record will be up in the next months, when we know more about that.
Anyway... we're really looking forward to 2008 and hope that things will continue running as good as they're doing right now! Also the very best to you guys and a successfull year 2008!

hey friends out there!
As you can see we had a little update concerning or myspace design. Hope you guys like it as much as we do! Thank you Dominik for taking time to work it out with us and designing it! A few details (banners, merch...) will be up in a few days.
Furthermore we have some merchandise offered for you since a while. Cause we never mentioned it in a blog or anything else till today, we want to make you aware of it here!
The next thing we want to mention is that we're recording two new songs since a while. Please be patient, we know things aren't going as fast as we would like it because of several reasons but we're doing our best to finish it as soon as possible.

FIRST NEWS!

He folks!
We thought it's time to post our first Inarcadia Newsletter in order to inform you about what's going on right now and what to expect for the near future!
First of all we wanted to say that our first show last week at a band contest went really well and we had incredibly much fun to party hard on stage. ;) We're also very happy that we could share the first place with Jenny Jazz from Linz. If you haven't already seen these guys, you should change that quickly and visit them on their myspace
By the way....check out our new pics. They kick ass ;) Furthermore, we want to send out a very big thank you to Valentin, who gave us the opportunity to play our first show there.
Well.... in the next 2 or 3 days we'll upload a first teaser, which is basically a 40 second cutout of one of our songs. In about a month the first complete song will be put online! At this point we want to say thank you to Domas, who really helped us recording and mixing all that stuff!
Ok, so far so good.... we're now going to shut ourselves off in our rehearsing room again in order to work on our set and some new songs.
We're really looking forward to play some shows in the next months. It would be a pleasure to see you guys there.
