It's Coming Baby!!

I'd like to meet:

Pastor

Following a short stay in the New York State penal system, ex pimp and hustler turned Christian, Robert Brown has turned his life over to Christ. His time in prison allowed him to reflect on his past and make the decision to become an ordain minister. Along with ministering over his own flock, he has also developed a plan to unite all of the major black churches in the neighborhood. His quest for economic empowerment and political gain in the village of Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn is slowly starting to take shape. Unfortunately, Pastor Brown finds it difficult to totally separate himself from his past. His love of female attention is his major downfall. He befriends a young lady from his congregation that turns his whole world upside down. His troubles force him to search his soul and question his faith.

Malik

Malik Morgan has spent the last 5 year of his life in a New York State Correctional Facility. Once noted as one of the most notorious drug dealers in the DA STUY, Malik has shift his focus from street hustler to Rapper. With the help of his young protege, Malik attempts to start his own record label and pull himself out of a stereotypical life. He reaches a crossroad when a life altering experience changes everything. Slowly he feels the pressures of the streets pulling him back to his old ways. He often finds himself looking for a balance between right and wrong.

Smoke

Alvin Love, a.k.a. Smoke's street cred is on the rise. This Bed-Stuy drug specialist is making his way through the gutters of Brooklyn, to take over the helm from his underworld boss. Smoke, the ever-popular, savvy, street pharmacist is out to prove he can handle whatever come his way; that is, until the day his world come to a crashing halt... Smoke is handed heart-wrenching news that puts his reputation on the line and his business in jeopardy. Revenge clouds his judgment as he tries to keep control of his illegal empire.

Deacon

Douglas Jackson, spent his childhood years as a war chief for the Jolly Stompers. After the gang was dissolved he became a drug dealer and the founder of the Brooklyn chapter of the Bloods. Shortly after he became addicted to the product that he was selling. While at his lowest point his long time friend Robert Brown introduced him to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Douglas’ faith grew and elevated him to Deacon of his friend’s church. For the first time in his life things are going well… until a young member of his gang gets into an altercation with a local street hustler and the Deacon has to chose between dropping his flag or denouncing his God.

Music:

I wish you could see what I see
Your pupils connected to my heart
My dreams intertwined with your thoughts
I wish you could see what I see
Then you would look beyond the horizons to find me
If only you could see what I see
You would know neither the temple where I dwell
Nor my geography makes me, me
If your heart was connected to my eyes
Then you would truly know me
And you would realize that we are not that much different
And still not at all the same
You should shower yourself at my visions And feel my pain
Your Eyes would feast on chocolate mountains
That rest on top of red rivers and pool themselves into an oasis of endless love
If only you could see what my heart has transcribed
If only you could see life through these Ghetto Eyez
