Methadon Records was formed in the end of 2003 in Poland. Since the beginning is the only hardtechno label in Poland. Our mission is to promote
hard, dark & distorted sounds. We’re not schranz, we’re just sick & out of the mainstream. There is a lot of misunderstanding with our name. Some people ask "hey guys are you heroin users or what?" (rotfl) Nope, not everyone knows that methadon is a synthethic drug used to get addicts out of that shit. We’re against hard drugs and that’s why we choosed such name for a label
From the first to sixth release we pressed our records in Germany (there is no press plant in Poland) and distributed by Web-Records. In june 2006 we moved to Triple Vision and now we press & distribute our records from The Netherlands. In 2006 we also started our sublabel - Methanabol, where we wanna present some really nasty beats, which can be described as hard jackin’, industrial, breaks and call-it-what-you-want-shit.
