I'm a Administrative Medical Professional, which is a glorified way of saying I know the lingo and what the hell all those tests are for, and I can read most Doc's hand writing :D.
My husband, Donn, is a nurse and a soldier, nurse first. He has been very busy as both since 9/11. He has been to the desert already, Bagram Afghanistan, and is going to Iraq soon.
We are big Trekkies and Sci-Fier, we go to conventions, watch all the the Sci-Fi shows and collect the merchandise and autographs, we just won't wear the red shirts...
And BTW, I'm a huge cat person. Really, I am...don't look at my pictures and make snap judgements. I hide my addiction well...
My cat, Kyllee, is the world to me. She is an 'Abyssinian', so anyone who knows cats, knows that she is a perpetual child, there is a spring in her tail so she jumps 3 feet in the air and does back flips for 'what ever' reason! She either runs to where she wants to be {I had an appointment there 5 minutes ago!}, or she just 'apears' right next to me {You talkin' 'bout me?}. And there are definitely monsters underneth all the rugs in my house, because Kyllee regularly keeps them at bay {Get back under there!}.
P.S. All my 'Conan: Walker Texas Ranger clips' are not the same. I edited out the repeats. And what I like about the cat video I have below is when the cats 'take-out' the kids or bigger animals than them, I don't quit like seeing them hit the walls, but I don't know how to edit that out; Sorry.
