YES IT'S TRUE!! AS YOU MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE HEARD, THE SOURCE LATINO IS MAKING A COMEBACK. IT IS NOT A RUMOR, WE ARE IN THE PROCESS OF PREPARING FOR OUR 2008 DROP. WE ARE CURRENTLY SEEKING WRITERS, PHOTOGRAPHERS, A CREATIVE DIRECTOR, AND EDITOR IN CHIEF.
Eric has been in the entertainment industry over half his life as an actor, model and musician. At this time he is still actively pursuing an acting career as well as running a successful label, with a drive that can only be matched by his tenacity;As a Latino he is certainly on his way to making his mark on the industry. As an actor this upcoming Latino has worked on films with Ice Cube, Master P and featured in a video with the late rap icon Tupac Shakur. Recently he was invited to speak on the Latin Hip-Hop and Reggaeton Panel in Atlanta for the Billboard Music Awards, which was said to be one of the most informative panels of the show. While there he met and became friends with the President of Universal Records Distribution, Jim Urie, as well as networking with some of the most influential people in the music business. He was also invited to New York with Fred Sotelo of Viva Hollywood to be a part of the ground breaking of the Latin hip-hop coalition at P. Diddy's restaurant, Justin’s. While there Fred asked Eric to be on the Board of Directors and help with raising awareness in the Southwest by being an A&R and consultant for new members of the coalition. With recent trips to Miami, Tampa, New Jersey, New York and Atlanta, this young CEO is out to set a standard in networking. As the CEO he constantly seeks ways to team up with brands and create opportunities for his artists to be seen; such as teaming up with Coke to drop a Sprite Remix Sampler that features all of PME's artist! They were distributed throughout the southwest and promoted on radio. Powermoves has also teamed with companies such as Comcast, Pepsi, McDonalds and Dr. Pepper just to name a few, for brand marketing opportunities. As a CEO he and the Powermoves artists have also been featured in several national magazines, Urban Latino, Orlies Lowrider, Urban Network and will be seen in many more in 2006. Powermoves will also be seen in a documentary series about the music business and the struggles to make it coming soon on a major network. He is planning on signing with a new agent in 2006 and resurrecting his acting and modeling career; with the connections this man has in the business, that should be no problem. On top of everything else, this young CEO is also an active speaker at schools and companies. Speaking mostly about drive and the will to succeed as well as having a plan for success. Eric often says "I made an artform out of failing. That’s why I can say now with confidence that I know better what to do and what not to do."
