I have seriously resisted putting "your mom" in this box for a very long time...
If I were to sit here and list all my favorite bands, you would be bored. The highlights are as follows: TOADIES!, The Faint, Alkaline Trio (older stuff), Ignite, Thrice, Matt Pond PA, Beirut, Anything 80's and the good stuff from the 90's, and lots and lots of guilty pleasures that I only speak of when you catch me off guard.
V for Vendetta, Strange Brew, Fandango, The Sandlot, Mona Lisa's Smile, Pollock, Alice in Wonderland, Good Will Hunting, Napoleon Dynamite, Sixteen Candles, Grandma's Boy, Stranger than Fiction, Family Guy Blue Harvest
King of the Hill, The Simpsons, Futurama, Family Guy, Forensic Files and other Crime Shows, Numbers, Scrubs, The Closer, CSI
I'm weird when it comes to books... I go through the dollar section at Half Price and judge books by their cover. Being an artist, I suppose this makes sense. Some books that have been proven winners: ANYTHING Madeline L'Engle (fiction and non-fiction alike... never can get enough of her book "Walking on Water: Reflections of Art and Faith"), I am the Cheese, The Wonder Spot by Melissa Banks, and all artistic books that give me inspiration and ideas

I think a hero is someone who inspires me to be a better person... by this definition, my two heroes are Drew and my mom.
