After discovering the Belgian crew BRC, he began as a DJ in 1988 with the band “Black & Lovely” and scratched their first LP “That’s the way that It goes”. After working in a lot of famous nightclubs in Brussels such as the Mirano, the Louise Gallery (Amnesia, Circus, NY Metropolitan,…), the Empire, the Carré, he accompanied Sponky (The magical band) and the Black Killers for a lot of shows such as the warming of Boney M. or Kool & the Gang in Charleroi.In 1995, DJ Yooz also participated in the famous DMC DJ BELGIAN CHAMPIONSHIP and won 2 years consecutively the first prize.In 1996, he represented his country, Belgium in Rimini, (Italy) for the DMC World DJ Championship against 32 other nations.In 1997, he created the first DJ group in Belgium with DJ Daddy K, DJ Hamadi, DJ Risk and DJ Snoop. He was the producer of his first 12’’album called “Transformerz breakbeat”. He assisted several DJs in the their CD production such as Murvin Jay, DJ Snoop & DJ Carwash on R&B Reference, Eric P, Slow-Jam, The NBS, Risk on Miami’s funk.In 1999, he won again the Belgium DJ championship with DJ Daddy K and represented Belgium once more at the Worlds DJ championship in New-York representing his group “The Transformerz”.In 2000, DJ Yooz continued progressing by working with the singer Leslie and stopped the championship. He signed the soundtrack of the movie “Peneloppe goes to New-York” and also the soundtrack of a lot of Skate DVD. DJ Yooz was the first person in Europe to produce the first “100% Scratch album” called “When needles meets vinyl” with a lot of world famous DJ champions (DJ P-Trix (USA), DJ Jay-k (IT), DJ Rockid (NL), DJ Grazzhoppa (B), DJ ND (B), DJ Noize (World champion from DK), Sya Style (FR).From 2001 to 2003, we could listen every Sunday DJ Yooz presenting his own radio show “The Transformerz show”. After that, he worked as a DJ for other important events such as The Belgian BMX Battle, Red bull X-trem night, Gordon’s promo tour, Proximus college night and began to travel around the world for different musical events such as disco night, Funky soul night. In 2005 he created the new label “United Sound of Brussels” with DJ Notrix with whom he produced his first Electrobreakz called “SERIOUS SIR YOOZ” featuring Leslie and DJ Snoop in 2006. During the same year we could also watch on M6 a demo scratch from Yooz @ L’émission des talents.In 2007 he will present his new production on CD called “Beat Collector”, the soundtrack of a new Skate DVD and also The “Futuris masters” it's a TV show on MCM & JIM TV from September to December.But the best is yet to come…
