About Me

On September 10, 1984, I was born in the city of Southfield, Michigan. Just outside of Detroit. My father worked for Delta Air Lines and did some carpentry on the side. He built most of the house I lived in for the first three years of my life. I loved dinosaurs, legos and GIJoes. My favorite movie was Karate Kid. Or it must have been because my parents tell me it was one of the first words I could say. I remember very few things about my early years, but I do remember my brothers used to push me around in a cardboard box, zooming me all around the house. The faster they went the more I laughed, and the more I laughed the more they did it. It was a vicious cycle that took up most of my childhood days.My dad had worked for Delta for 14 years by the time I was 3. We knew they were phasing out Delta departments for Detroit, and if my dad wanted to keep his job we would have to take a position somewhere else. Over the years he has been offered a station in Florida, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Lost Angeles. None of which were good places to raise children in my parents opinion. He put off taking a transfer as long as he could, then Delta bought out Western Airlines. My dad was offered a Seattle position, with added promotions, meaning pay for the move and salary raises. That all took place in February, 1987. My mom was pregnant with my sister Kaitlyn though, and refused to move until she was born in June. So dad flew from Washington to Michigan for awhile. When we sold our house, mom and dad used some of the money to buy a motor home, and we drove to Washington with all our stuff. I remember how different Washington was when we first got here. There wasn't a damn thing on Coal Creak. We bought one of the first houses in Summer Wind. We didn't even have a front or back yard yet, and barely a sidewalk. There were no fences separating the houses, just a bunch of houses on a hill by a road pretty much. My parents were avid Christians, so they joined Lake Boren Church and would drag all the kids along for about 11 years. Both me and my sister hated church so much that we'd bitch and bitch and bitch until my mom got a job at Evergreen Hospital working in the E.R. and took night shifts and it just got too hard so we finally just stopped going. To me, church is one of those things you gotta want to go to. You can be forced to go for years, but kids like me will likely just loathe it until the day they move out. Now that I am more grown up, and not really sure where the truth is anymore, I might just give it another try sometime. I graduated high school in 2003, and since, theres been a lot of drinking, a lot of growing up, some setbacks, some relationships, some good phases, some bad. Right now I'm almost at a standstill, but a good one, just looking for the next step. I live with two awesome room mates, I have a great job working at ELS/Alaska Airlines with my dad, who retired from Delta and was hired doing the exact same thing for Alaska Airlines. I get great flight and health benefits, but it's a night shift job, and I am totally a people person, so this lack of daylight and chit-chat is giving me shaky legs. I thought working at an airport would be awesome, to be able to talk to people from all over, but being a night-shift fueler, there aren't too many people to converse with. I beginning to realize that the more money you make, the more lonely you get. I guess I'm not really sure where this about me is going, but hopefully you got an idea of who I am? If not I have myspace IM and AIM, but I does anyone really ever use that to meet people anymore? My name on Aim is Hoovdizzle, literally anyone is welcome to chat me up about anything at all. My dream is to travel the world.
I'm an ex smoker! yay (2+ years)
