!!!!!!!!I think this video is creative science at its best. It's like extreme Mouse Trap from Japan with a twist X infinity.
Danny from The Real World: New Orleans... though I recently passed him walking around Columbus Circle! (I love this town!) Most every rock star (from Tre to Ani and Sufjan to Stevie Nicks). Then throw in Whitney Houston, Madonna and Janet Jackson. Stravinsky and Frank Gehry. Thom Yorke and Michael Moore. Steven Tyler, Kelly Clarkson, and Bjork, only b/c Benji has. Forrest Gump. well more Jenny Gump. The Animaniacs. Margaret Cho. Ellen DeGeneres. A penguin. Boyf #3. Pets #1 & #2.
Oh Man... anything with a good beat or a banjo or a little extra noise. I like music with texture and layers. Favorite genres: classic rock, indie rock, electronic, jam bands, bluegrass. Can not stand: rap, country (red state-pop), anybody screaming at me. Exploring new artists, or old artists I never knew, is among my favorite hobbies. Music powers my life. And I am ALWAYS listening. So tell me if you just heard your new favorite song. What I've been listening to recently: Radiohead, Minus the Bear, amiina, Zero 7, The Notwist, the Borders soundtrack (Natasha Bedingfield, Sara Bareilles, Idina Menzel [GOOD LORD!]) New Favorites--Expecting Rain - Saint Cecilia Sound System, Hot Chip - Made in the Dark
Documentaries (SO IMPORTANT): Why We Fight, An Inconvenient Truth, The Corporation, What the Bleep Do We Know?, Bowling for Columbine, Who Killed the Electric Car?, Baraka, March of the Penguins, Sketches of Frank Gehry, Andy Goldsworthy Rivers & Tides, and Phish's Bittersweet Motel. Please watch The Secret...it works!Favorite Flicks: all of Cirque du Soleil...Quidam, Alegria, La Nouba, Corteo, Varekai, Almost Famous, American Beauty, Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, Crash, Fight Club, Se7en, Fantasia 2000, The Matrix, Forest Gump, Pretty Woman, A League of Their Own (this used to be our playground...), and most recently, Happy Feet!!This "aerial contortion in silk" (thanks Cirque website) blew my mind when I first watched it. Unfortunately, these conditions (the small video, all the distractions...) will certainly not give it justice. But netflix Cirque's Quidam and watch it on your tv.

Watch Every Week: a couple good engineering or history or space specials, Man vs Wild, Simpsons, Family Guy, Drawn Together, Desperate Housewives (DHW)(love the Scavo's!), Trading Spaces at some point, Daily Show (daily). And fucking Ninja Warrior. That show is so great! A round of applause, please, for the series Planet Earth! Bravo!Though, thanks to DVR, I can watch all this programming in a few short sittings! I try to keep TV at a minimum!
Well I work in a book store, so I should know a thing or two about literature. Mostly, I have been reading nonfiction, particularly religion books. At this point in my spiritual journey, I am trying to open myself up to all options and then I can begin to narrow and hone my ideas. My "scriptures" currently consist of The Secret, The Alchemist and Siddhartha. However, the most important book I've ever read is The Four Agreements; let's just call it the newest and the oldest testament. More to come!
