Their cause may not be a lost one, as they are in this to have a good time and perhaps learn a little in our voyages. They went on the account in November of 2005, and continue to grow. Keep a sharp lookout for their crew, and mark my words, your booty 'aint safe around the likes of them...but then again, it's harmless fun..and everyone likes pirates!
Markland is a non-profit educational organization that studies and re-enacts the cultures of the Middle Ages and related periods. The crew attends public and private wars, feasts, parades, field trips, and demonstrations up and down the Northeast coast, year-round. Many of their members have years of experience behind us as medieval re-enactors, but their turn to piracy is something completely new to us.
