About Me
Johnny began his career in music at an early age. Born in Northern California and raised in South Florida, Johnny caught the djing bug at the age of 11 after meeting Jealous "J" (AKA Jim Jonsin) and the rest was history. He began spinning at local parties, clubs and has won various Dj competitions. Not long after Djing some of the biggest nightclubs, He eventually began to promote some major concerts and events including Run DMC, Shaggy, Naughty By Nature, and Slick Rick to name a few. After years of being a successful Dj, Johnny decided to take it to the next level and pursue a career in music production. Growing up in the midst of the Miami Bass era is where alot of his production influences come from. Groups like 2 Live Crew, Dj Laz, Egyptian Lover, Mc Shy "D", Magic Mike, Jealous "J", Eddie "B", Kraftwerk and KJ & Kooley "C" are some of the artist he looked up to as a kid. He's currently producing music with Miami's own "Rebel Rock Entertainment" lead by super producer Jim Jonsin. Johnny's also the official Dj for Donald Trump himself, spinning various charity events & parties. His plans are to continue growing with the Miami based production team and make a major dent in the music industry. By the looks of it, Johnny Quest is definately on his way to major success.
