Made to be Broken began in September of 2006 as a brainchild of Felipe and Diego (schoolmates and both guitarists), who wanted to create a band influenced by pop-punk, screamo, powerpop, and other general styles of music. On the other end was Ricardo (drummer) with the same idea about starting a band. At one point Diego and Ricardo had a conversation and decided to form a band with Felipe. After a few rehearsals at Felo's house they would invite Rocko (singer) to the band, a singer who has fit in rather well with the band. After a while without having a bassist, they did an audition and decided to take Wes into their project, and he played with them at their debut show.
Wes then left the band to pursue a solo project (ROTLD). After Wes' departure, Made to Be Broken did another audition and they found the current bassist, Nicolas Zajaropulos. They played a considerable amount of time in this formation, and at shows more and more people began to sing MTBB songs. The band eventually managed to stand out in the scene more every time, and this eventually led to getting a label offering. This label helped them start with their first productions. A few days later Diego unfortunately had some personal problems and had to leave the band. With the loss of a band member and founder of MTBB, Nicolás came into the picture (guitarist of A New Addiction), and he subbed for them for various shows until Rubén, one of the guitarists that auditioned for a place in MTBB, went to a rehearsal.
He was well welcomed and loved by all, a member that got into sync with the band quickly due to the kind relationship he has with the band members and his love of music, allowing him to perfectly fit the profile of the new MTBB guitarist. Finally today MTBB is complete and releases their first demo titled "THE COLLAPSE OF ALL DREAMS", but this demo just represents the beginning of what is yet to come. Until now all that is left is to thank all of the people that have supported this project, and to all of the kids who have gone to shows and have felt the music of MTBB in their hearts, thank you.
