According to the Norwegian hip-hop-magazine The Brun Sauce, The Afeeliated is "...the quest for what's above aight, personified in a producer and an MC". Situated in a country musically suffering from poverty of creativity, the duo works hard to deliver a product seldom heard: the sound of straight up (re)invigorating music. Even though the two claim to be less than averagely squeamish, they admit to feeling a sensation of nausea every time they're confronted with yet another similar sounding local act. Taking names rather than prisoners as they fight for all which is fresh, they have reached a remarkable level of niceness. Bishop and Ivy League: the educated musician and the felicitous speaker of corners and stairways. Both are fastidious. Both are committed to history's most vibrant art form, warfare aside. Affiliated through hip-hop, they are THE AFEELIATED.
Their debut project is available on CD. The record "Cognition In Melody" is but the first brick in a planned wall of soulful bits of music. It is to be purchased online (www.mixtape.no) or at

The Afeeliated are Afeeliated with several Afeeliates, each Afeeliate more valuable to the Afeeliation than the next. Kjartan Grønhaug and Jørgen Falck, Afeeliates from Bergen, have been extremely helpful in the complex process of mixing. After the group had been given the title of Uka's Urørt (the Norwegian equivalent to the British knighthood), a journalist asked MC Ivy League if there was anyone he would like to thank. Ivy L cleared his throat, wiped away a single tear, and shouted the following: "Tore Pang and Spinkel of the mighty Manisk Lyd, busting their pail asses to promote an unsellable product, I love y'all! Brotherly love to DJ Totem also, for laying down every cut we ever used, holla! Lastly, but not leastly: Thanks to photographer Kieran Kolle for all the unforgettable Codac-moments."
