Kamila is a native of Baltimore, Maryland. She is the
oldest child of M. Shannon and W. C. Walker. Kamila is the
devoted wife of A. T. Scott and the proud parent of 9-year
old Kaylah M. G. and 14-year old T. Scott. Kaylah is following in her momma's foot steps. She serves on the dance ministry of Shiloh and has been dancing since the age of 3. Kamila graduated from Franklin H.S. in 1993. She is an active member of Shiloh Christian Community Church, where her Anointed Pastor is "the" Rev. Jimmy C. Baldwin Sr. Kamila has been ministering in dance for 10 years. She is currently the ministry leader for the dance and mime ministry of her church. She has served on other ministries such as the Young Adult Ministry, the Usher Board, and the Baynard Choir. Kamila attended Flair Dance Studio on Baltimore National Pike. She is also a former member of a
community dance ministry, Expressions of Faith. She along
with the other members of Expressions of Faith, have been showcased in several Kuumba Ensemble Productions, founded and directed by Mrs. Rosalyn Gaines. For the past several years, Kamila has served and used her gift at Shiloh's Milk & Honey Summer Camp, teaching liturgical dance to young girls ages 4-12. She attended and graduated in September 2008 from the International Liturgical Dance Fellowship Academy, where her instructor was Dr. Franca Fauntleroy, an awesome woman of God. Kamila is now certified to teach in liturgical dance. My future plans is to attend college for my A.F.A. degree in Dance. I dance “For the Glory of Godâ€. It’s an honor for me to serve the Lord through dance because I understand that God could have chosen anyone else to do the work. "For such a time as this" God chose me and I AM SO GRATEFUL.
