NYC Upstarts Art Show
This May marks the 5th anniversary of New York Cityâ€™sannual Upstarts Show. Originally created in 2003 byDanielle Distefano and Matt Greenhalgh to showcaseNew Yorkâ€™s young, up-and-coming tattoo artists,Upstarts has grown to include tattooists from around theglobe. This yearâ€™s show coincides with the New YorkCity Tattoo Convention, giving artists the opportunity toexhibit their latest ideas to an audience of fellow tattooartists. The Upstarts show is intended to showcasecurrent inspirations in tattoo design and culture. Pleasejoin us this year in celebrating the 5th anniversary of theNYC Upstarts Show!
The opening party will be held on Thursday, May 17th2007 from 7pm to 11pm at Saved Tattoo inWilliamsburg, Brooklyn.

Here are some of the guidelines for artist:

1. You must be a tattoo artist, tattooer, or tattooist to participate.
2. Any medium may be used.
3. No size restrictions (14â€ x 11â€ is most convenient, but larger pieces are not discouraged).
4. Must have work ready to be hung. We are not responsible if work falls off of the wall due to poor construction.
5. If you would like us to sell prints of your piece they must be printed on quality paper. NO COLOR COPIES. Prints must be provided by the due date.
6. One piece per artist.
7. Artwork due date is May 1st 2007.
8. All pieces will be documented for publication opportunities.
9. Saved Gallery will take 30% of all sales.
