People try to put us down, just ‘cause we get around.
People tell us: “it’s not worthy to waste all your money on instruments and spend your free time just in a room with amplifiers, guitars and drums and play your music. You should stop that.”
They’ve been saying that quite a long time now. And we’re still saying: “F*ck you, too.”
How can these people know the feeling of love, the feeling of pure energy, the feeling of unity; all in all: the feeling for music?
They never experienced it at all. We did, it came to us. And we still receive it though. And we will always feel it, in every second we play together. On stage, in our rehearsal room, or in your living room. Just become a part of the Lucille. Get into it.
Coming from Bochum, Germany, Lucille has been playing together in various instrumentations since 2006. After a period of dry spell due to the departure of Johannes (bass) and Tom (drums), the band reformed with Luke Gärtner playing bass guitar and Julian Kruse playing the drums in spring 2008. We got the chance to play some gigs with the “bigger” bands, and we didn’t hesitate to accept this offer! Now, we’re about to get on the international stages to play everywhere we can …
