LET'S PLAY BALL!!!!!

About Me

This is a very hard question to answer. How do you answer it without sounding like your bragging or selling yourself short. I feel like I'm on a job interview right now! I guess the best way to describe myself is that I love to have fun. I am a social worker by day and I attend grad school at night, so I need to keep my personal life very light and fun. I can get stressed a lot from work so I counter that by playing hard. I like to joke around and have fun doing whatever I do. I like to find the humor or fun it whatever I do, be it that I'm just sitting around with friends or I'm at a bar or I'm at a baseball game. I like to think that I'm outgoing and nice(with an edge) which makes it easy for me to rock out. However, I do have a very sarcastic sense of humor but so do most of the people I'm friends with. Bottomline, it is very important to me that I laugh a lot. See I said it is hard to describe yourself!!! I'm done! =)

My Interests

I love to watch sports, mainly football and baseball, live preferrably. I really don't care if it's major league or a neighborhood team, I just love the excitment of watching live sports. I love to go to bars and see live bands. I like to dance and get together with my friends. I'm really pretty simple. I like to be around people and have a good time. I'm really very social.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone that is interesting to talk to.

Music:

I really listen to everything. There really isn't one type of music I don't listen to except maybe Christian/Gospel. I think it will be easier to put my favorite bands, which are O.A.R., Dave Matthews Band, Rusted Root, Buddy Guy, Rolling Stones, Fallout Boy, Nelly, Lucky Boys Confussion, Black 47, Tommy Makem and the list can go on and on.

Movies:

Usual Suspects, all Kevin Smith films (except maybe Jeresy Girl- not his best work), Gone with the Wind, Seven, Old School, An Affair to Remember. The list can go on, my tastes are very diverse as you can see.

Television:

Law and Order - all of them, Family Guy, Seinfeld. I really don't watch much new TV, but I do love reruns of the good old stuff, ie early Friends, Murphy Brown, Cosby Show.

Books:

Since I went back to school I haven't had much of an opportunity to read for pleasure. However, I would recommend any book by John Douglas.

Heroes:

Heroes, this is a hard one to answer. I try not to live my life based on what others do. I do have a lot of respect for people who have earned what they have. I believe that if you overcome your obstacles by working hard and playing by the rules and are now living a life of self-suffiency then you have earned my respect. I have people in my life that have done so and I value their opinion way more than I value any sum of money. Nothing in life comes easy and it's a hard lesson to learn, but those that have learned that are stronger and better than anyone in my opinion.
