Doc Nine went to see a Parliament/Funkadelic concert in Springfield Ma as a kid.The opening act was an unknown group called the Sugarhill Gang.He was instantly hooked and has been in hip hop ever since..Two years later, he started one of the first hip hop radio shows in Ct. becoming one of the youngest djs ever at WHUS radio in Storrs Ct.The Rap Explosion reigned supreme for over 10 years each and every friday night. He got to meet many artists including Krs-one, Chuck D, Nice and Smooth, LL Cool J, Fat Joe, Fabulous and many others..The Rap Explosion then expanded to WSCB radio and became the Hip Hop Bomb. After many years and becoming hip hop music director reporting to several magazines at WSCB, he went on to WESU in Middletown Ct. At WESU he hooked up with his long time friend DJ KG..After a year at WESU, they decided to try commercial radio, Doc 9 became the drive time host at Blaze 990 from 2-6 pm monday thru friday with Kg doing the road rage blaze mix from 4-5 pm.Though it was a great experience, the politics and restraints of commercial radio wasn't for Doc 9....Kg went on to Hot 93.7 and Doc 9 decided to do something he had wanted to do for years....he moved to sunny Florida....stay tuned....the saga will continue............................style type="text/css">table table table td.text div img {visibility:hidden;} table table table td.text div { background-image:url("http://www.blinkyou.com/onlinenowicons
