The MoB is the Mafia of Brothers and the Mafia of Babes. The MoB is a gaming family; we are the MoB Gaming Family. The MoB is a theme-oriented, unified group of gamers who understand gaming on a different level. The MoB is interconnected through the mediums of online gaming and the internet, and the MoB Gaming Family is present in all games, on all platforms, and in as many types of media as possible. The MoB Gaming Family strives to establish itself in a positive way. It seems that the MoB is everywhere in the gaming industry. We are all about RESPECT, and we believe that RESPECT is a two-way street. The MoB Gaming Family is always prepared for the fight, constantly operating in a professional manner. The Administration of the MoB Gaming Family, which consists of four different types of people, strives to bring the Best for the MoB in any number of areas and to advance the MoB Gaming Family to its full potential. The Administration is highly educated, blending real-world corporate experience, high education, and honorable integrity. The Administration uses these qualities to their fullest extent and no waste is tolerated. The Administration is the leadership of the MoB Gaming Family, and the members of the Administration have good reason to keep other leaders in check. A chain is only as strong as its weakest link, and a leader is only a leader when Respected from both directions of command. The Administration guides the MoB Gaming Family and knows what is needed to get the Job Done. The MoB Gaming Family is, in truth, a virtual family that plays games together. It is a unified group of gamers, and it constantly wants to promote those who work for it. We are always Respecting but are not afraid to strike back when disrespected. The MoB does not designate itself as a team, clan, guild, or squad. We may go as far as to say we are a gaming group or gaming community, but even those words do not capture what the MoB Gaming Family truly is. The MoB is a Gaming Family, and groups within the Family are referred to as Family Branches. We keep the Mafia theme, and our organization reflects this strong theme. Emm-Oh-Bee may be an acronym, but the name itself has much more meaning than those with a random sequence of three characters. One doesn’t have to ask what MoB stands for. It simply is the MoB. MoB is a word, and denotes a theme immediately. The MoB Gaming Family Respects each other and plays games in a professional manner. The MoB loves to succeed, at any point in time a member of the MoB is striving to complete something. The MoB is dynamic. It is always changing and adapting to the needs of its members. The MoB Gaming Family is a group of serious gamers who play and operate in a professional manner, Respecting those who work for them. Major League Gaming, the largest organized league for the competitive sport of video gaming, gave out $237,550 in prize money during the season of 2005. The video game industry is rapidly growing year by year and the sport of video gaming is turning into a legitimate, competitive sport that is recognized on a global scale. It may not be long until a professional gamer is seen on a box of Wheaties. An article by CBS 60 Minutes states that the worldwide sales of video game consoles and software are expected to reach $35 billion this year... more than twice the revenue of the NFL, the NBA, and Major League Baseball combined. (Court, 22 Jan 2006). That’s a lot of money that is floating around, but few have been able to tap in so far. The same thing can be said about the gaming communities that exist online. They are all over the place, but little is produced from them. These online gaming communities are extensive resources that remain untapped. Any number of developers, producers, and corporations can benefit from what a gaming community can do for them. Many of theses gaming communities are trying to bring their services to the major players of the business world, but the fact is that most do not know how and those that do are struggling to get the job done. The MoB Gaming Family is different; our leadership knows what it takes because our leadership has done it before in the real corporate world. The Administration of the MoB Gaming Family has real-world corporate experience and the knowledge of Gaming. The MoB Gaming Family is a strong link between the Gamer and the Corporation. We can take what a corporation gives us and bring directly to the gamer. We can take the ideas and wants of the Gamer and translate them to allow the business world to benefit. The MoB Gaming Family has the know-how and the determination to accomplish anything if properly motivated to do so. The fact is that it really does take a family to succeed in the $35 billion gaming industry. Gaming has turned into a family business, and anyone has to operate as a family to get any serious matter done. They must work together, eat together, and breathe together to get any significant thing done. One cannot expect a random group of random people to produce any meaningful accomplishment.
