.. width="425" height="350" ..Shannon Starr begun her modeling career 5 years ago when she was approached by a man by the name of Duke who ran Dukeman Entertainment. Dukeman Entertainment at the time was working side by side with Jadakiss. Shannon Starr begun traveling back in forth to Flint MI where she started promotional modeling for an artist (Banzi-da-Bad Guy) & going to different cities promoting his work.Shannon Starr also through modeling with this company linked up with So So Def & Stomping Groundz Entertainment doing promotional modeling and hosting parties with them. It became apparent to Starr that this is what she wanted to do. She enjoyed the limelight, the people and of course the parties, but it had become more to Starr, a way for her to display her cool, laid back, Jamaica Queens personailtity.Shannon Starr then begun to branch off meeting several people along the way, she interned at 107.9 for a short while & then did promotional parties for Pimp Juice & Crunk Juice. Starr has also worked with BURN Energy drink and Grand Hustle Entertainment on the promotional scene. Starr begun doing "entertainment modeling shots" when she was introduced to someone at the G-Unit office & was able to do a G-Unit party at which yet again she was able to expand her contact folder.So what is next to come for this newly rising Starr? Well she was just crossed over her demographics by doing a high fashion photo shoot for Word on Da Streetz Magazine that is scheduled to launch in January & through the CEO of Word on Da Streetz was given the oppurtunity to become a Core Model (Of the Core DJ'WorldWide). Starr is also working on doing demensional modeling which projects the good VS evil images that have the more midevil times look. She aims to be the model that takes men through a fantasy. As she once told Mase (and he loved how it was put) "The difference between me & other models is, I want to sell the fantasy NOT be the fantasy) There is a difference.
