HotFreeLayoutsWell I'm on the otherside of the world living it up like a fricken rockstar. I came to Taiwan in the hopes to grow up and 'find myself'...I have yet to accomplish either of those goals..lol. I love my job as an ESL teacher and adore my kids, I love the friends that I have made and the friends I have yet to meet...the people here are awsome, the money here is pretty good and Taiwan is the perfect departing point for travel...so it is safe to say that I love it here and plan on sticking around for a while.

My Interests

I love doing anything outdoors, particularly mountain biking, although it has been a while. I also enjoy clubbing but prefer beach and pool parties ( absolutely unreal!) Other than that I like to do the norm...reading, sketching, watching movies, etc. Oh...but most of all...I like to DANCE!!

Music:

I love music and have a wide range of taste as a result, although I do tend to lean more on the rock & roll/ alt side. Some examples of my sporadic taste would be Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Bob, Morcheeba, Daughter Darling, Incubus, Live, Gnarles Barkley, Moby and Metallica...to name a few. Oh..and I love waking up to the garbage truck song after a hard night of partying..music to sooth the soul!( note the sarcasm)

Movies:

I love documentaries, foreign films, comedy and everything else under the sun...except horror. There is no point in me watching scary movies.. I just end up shutting my eyes, plugging my ears and humming a tune to drown out the horrific noises...lol. Some of my fav movies are: The Color of Paradise ( Arabic), City of God, The Constant Gardener and Ali G (fricken hilarious!). I also love anything with Will Ferrell in it.

Television:

Boo! I no longer own a T.V. So nothing at the moment.

Books:

Anything of historical context. I'd rather read a textbook over a romance novel any day!

Heroes:

My mother, my Grumpy ( Grampa), my uncle Bruce. I also admire all the people who who do good work and try to make this world a better place. I aspire to be like them. Sounds cheesy but whatever.
