Curiosity Thrilled Pat

I write songs. I use sarcasm and humour to get the message through. I'm a dane settled at the moment (for the moment) in Stockholm. There are rhymes in my lyrics but not all the time. I sometimes feel I'm restricting my lyrics by making them rhyme all the time. Who knows, maybe I'm just not that much of a song writer. I like to write about how many people are bastards. And racism. And the smalltownmentality. I don't claim to be a political singer/songwriter (I actually don't claim to be a singer/songwriter at all) That would be foolish. Everytime I discuss politics these days I'm drunk and after a while my best argument is "shut your mouth! you fucking right-winged bastard!" Which I suppose can be an okay argument when drunk. I sometimes write positive songs, but I leave writing happy songs to other people. I sing. Not flawlessly but I do it anyway. I figure, if that guy from Belle & Sebastian can do it, and that guy from Herman Dune can do it, why can't I as well? So I try. Some girl, a friend of a friend, once told my friend that she wanted to disappear into my voice. I think she just fancied me. I play the guitar. Badly. That's why I'm looking for people to play with. I'm actually looking for the whole lot. Co-singers, guitarplayers, bassplayers, drummers, someone to play the violin, the mandolin, the citarr, the banjo. I'm planning on learning the harmonica.
