The Red Letter Diaries formed in early 2003 when childhood friends; Thomas (Voice, Piano) and Michael (Guitar) put together an independently released self titled album which described their lives in under tweny five minutes.
Four years and three albums later, the group has expanded to a quintet, including members, Shawn (Guitar), Scott (Bass) and Tommy (Drums).
The Red Letter Diaries are kicking it into high gear in '08, expecting to put out a brand new full length album in Spring along with rigorous touring and promotional marketing.
Lyrically, The Red Letter Diaries ask the questions all of us want to ask and give us the answers some of us may not want to hear. Musically, the group weaves a tapestry wrought from skilled guitar work and powerful vocals.

"...the words are straight from the heart - with each phrase saying something profound, each word bouncing around in your mind, and forcing you to think deep within and find yourself. At times the vocals evolve into a sound that can only be defined as desperate, a sound heard commonly in todays music, but not as truthfully sounding as in the Red Letter Diaries. Hello Emo, meet your definition." - Eric Whetstone, AM Magazine
