_______________In 2003/04 I was part of ARKSTAR, formerly known as Freeform Arkestra. A quite ‘radical’ Band from zurich making some of the .... music i know! Put Madlib, a greek Shepherd with a solid portion of fusion spirit and the Chicago Art Ensemble in a jar, shake it and add MPCs, analogue synths, guitars, mandolines, saxophones, turntables, percussion and voices to it. That’s close to Arkstar today.
That year a 10†miniLP resulted from this work with Nico Canzonniere, Dario De Nicola, Vincent Teuscher, Valentin Bächi, Roman Bruderer, Jurcok and Sabina Leone: i featured

______________We gave around four concerts: three in Zurich and the one at the North Sea Jazz Festival.___________________________________________________
________________From around 2003 till 2005, we had a dj project called NOMADS. Together with Nat, Kibitz a.k.a Andi Villim und Sperber we put up two dj-setups connected through a third mixer with
Fx and a sampling unit, with an additional recordplayer and cd-players. It looked good. And it sounded good too! While one dj took the musical lead, an other slightly added some sounds and the third mixed this together and added fx. There was an open mic too (which we turned off if we didn’t like it.). ____________________________________________________________
