Driven by the love for reggae and dancehall music, we decided to build up our own sound somewhere in '95. We started playing a mix of reggae/ragga/jungle in a local bar in Antwerp (Belgium) on a weekly basis. As guests on the program "Wake the town", hosted by Karel Michiels on Radio Centraal, we got our first opportunity to play on air.The typical way of playing dancehall reggae became more and more popular in Belgium, the crowd kept on growing and still does. First parties were held at places such as Going Out, Pacific, Spaghettiworld and Bierland. After some time we've started recording our own exclusives (dubplates) with several Jamaican top artists. This made Far West a dangerous sound in clashes. In December '99 we won the first Belgian sound clash versus Boombastic Sound which took place at Fool Moon, Brussels. We kept on organising vibeful dancehall parties in Antwerp on several locations (De Cinema, Cotton Club, Las Mañas, Scheld'apen, CC St.Andries, Noorderterras, Pier 19 ...) and got invited to play all over Belgium. As things became bigger we represented Belgium in the clash "The Netherlands versus Belgium" (Rotterdam, The Netherlands) and the "European Link Up (Aachen, Germany) where soundsystems from 6 European countries gathered together. In cooperation with High Grade Sound we promoted War ina Belgium part 1 and 2: Black Spider versus Topaz and Runn versus Heartical. In 2005 we organised the Benelux Cup Clash: three clashes one-on-one and a final with the three winners.Since February 2000 we hosted a weekly show on radio Multipop 100.2 FM; strictly Jamaican vibes every Wednesday from 22.00h till 0.00h. Since the radio has moved, the show has been cancelled. The list of parties, clashes and concerts where we played, includes a.o.:Winner "Beat Up Clash" in Paris (May 2006),
