I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I love diversity, individualism, and freedom of choice.  I love it when people speak their mind, but I hate it if what they have to say was not preceded by rational thought.  I can be very shy, but with encouragement I hope it will fade.  I can whistle excellently, I like discovering who I am through other people, and enjoy poetry, reading, listening to new stuff whenever, etc.

My Interests

I love crafts, choir, music, playing my violin, and I want to compose music. I also like to learn historical facts of interest, and other miscellaneous things.

I'd like to meet:

People who defy conventionality

"In An Instant" - you can see more at flight404.com by Robert Hodgin

This is a video of Buffy and Faith... I love this show. By the way, I think faith is WAY HOTTER; not that I like girls.
This is Esther Kim... she is good to say the least.

This is a video featuring the lovely radiohead... LOVE IT!!!

Caprice no. 24.  This was composed by Niccolo Paganini, a violin virtuoso whom many thought got his talents from a soul-exchange with the devil.  The player is Dr. Viossy.

|   aahh... what's his sign?

MORTIFIED Animation: I Hate Drake

It is difficult to separate a man from his falsetto voice.

SPIDEY AAAAAAAHH!!! - so cool.

This is really eerie to behold, and it is a real place. Referred to as the "singing ringing tree."

random french short film i found visually stimulating

Music:

I listen to things depending on what mood I'm in. When I find a band, I usually only like a few of their songs and never the whole package.

System of a Down, Suzanne Vega, Cyndi Lauper, Lili Haydn, Danny Elfman, Midnight Syndicate, Transparence, Paganini XXI Century, Marilyn Manson, Bliss, Static-X, kidneythieves, Cris Valkyria, Cécile Corbel, Beergnomes, Timothy Takach, Andrew Lloyd Weber, etc.

Movies:

Joshua, Phantom of the Opera, The Red Violin, Pride and Prejudice, Queen of the Damned, From Hell, Underworld, Blade, Up In Smoke, Pan's Labrynth, Tim Burton n general, the actor Buster Keaton, Alfred Hitchcock in general, The Breakfast Club, and then a few clips via the amazing 'youtube' and 'google:video'

Television:

History channels, Comedy channel, Buffy, Coupling, Ovation TV, etc.

Books:

Sextrology lol, E A Poe, Bram Stoker, Mary Shelly, H.P. Lovecraft, Maureen Johnson, textbooks if they count hehe.

Heroes:

Most heroes seen in television, comic books, true life, or movies fit the perfect description of your common psychopath: egotistical, pathological liars, impersonal sexual affairs (James Bond), indifference to the loss of life, plus a high tolerance for gore.
Therefore, a great deal of the heroes recognized in my generation are clinical psychopaths - how grand is that?

A month ago I found out that I am French - my authentic last name is Chartier... That's fine with me, and it stifled my father's hopes of being Italian (he's a yank').  So now there's a reason my...
