Books are great, I love reading. I feel that we as a generation dont read enough anymore, we are too easily entertained. The television, movies, and the internet have made it too easy for us to engage our minds. When you read a book, it requires you to use YOUR imagination and create in your mind what the author is trying to portray with just letters on a page. Our imagination is one of the greatest gifts GOD has given us, its a crying shame that so many of our peers have traded in thier own thoughts for the imaginations of the movie directors, the web designers, the video game creators, and the TV producers. When people give up the priviledge to think and dream for themselves, they are accepting a world that will eventually dull and pale. The MANY have given the responsibility to the FEW. We expect to be entertained. Here are some books I like: The Bible, Passion for Purity, Blink, The Tipping Point, A Painted House, John Grisham books, some Max Lucado books, books about how humans work, autobiographies, history books, coffee table books, some Clancy books, and Archie comic books ;) haha
my heroes... enjoy...
