The people I believe in were not clean. Wine is like the blood of the line of influence- Petronius, Shakespeare, Twain, Poe, O'Neill, Joyce, Hemingway, Fitzgerald, Beckett, Dylan Thomas, Bukowski. Yes, it killed most of them, but they never quit. You don't quit. For some of us driniking is like praying, bringing us into the dream state that awakens emotion, lyricism, and prophecy. I was in yoga the other day. I was in full lotus position. My chakras were all aligned. My mind is cleared of all clatter and I'm looking out of my third eye and everything that I'm supposed to be doing. It's amazing what comes up, when you sit in that silence. 'Mama keeps whites bright like the sunlight, Mama's got the magic of Clorox 2.' I gotta work out. I keep saying it all the time. I keep saying I gotta start working out. It's been about two months since I've worked out. And I just don't have the time. Which uh..is odd. Because I have the time to go out to dinner. And uh..and watch tv. And get a bone density test. And uh.. try to figure out what my phone number spells in words.Anna Cummins said that "Do not save your loving speeches For your friends till they are dead; Do not write them on their tombstones, Speak them rather now instead.." There are so many people that I have or someday love to meet! People who really helped change my point of view on issues, people who have always been there for me no matter what, and people who truly made a difference in this world. My Dream Come True
