A New Day
A new day dawn another day gone. I look at the clock it says six in the morn—ing. Ringing from this alarm clock but I know that it’s not the clock that got me up today. So while it is still called today don’t go through it and forget to pray or say thank you for allowing me just one more chance. Now I can dance because I see through the dense fog clearer than I use to. Use to smoke use to drank use to lie cheat and steal but I didn’t kill anyone at least I thought but I was killing myself slowly be show-lee . A new day has awaking in me because I once was blind but now I see. The way to victory has been reveal through his story. A new walk, new talk, now I’m living you see. The things I thought were fun really weren’t right for me. Now through the son I can live righteously because without him I’m not right you see. He gives us all chance after chance after chance and all he is asking in return is for us to take hold of his hand, humble ourselves, seek his face, and turn from our wicked ways. Then will he hear from heaven and he’ll forgive and heal your land.
