DC76

Well, this is more a solo project than a band.
I was born 20 May 1983 in Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada, and music has always been a part of my life. It was in 2002 that I finally got the opportunity to experiment with computer music, and after getting Cubasis for my birthday that same year, I finally decided to take this computer music thing seriously. DC76 was a name I'd used before my electronica days for experimental music I did on my school's band room's computer.
My first song wasn't all that great, but one has to start somewhere, eh? :P It was called Manifest and was basically a rearrangement of a classical piece I had done 4 years prior. I plan on re-doing that once my current project is finished.
The first songs I was actually happy with on Cubasis were Angel In A Black Trenchcoat and The Rising, although neither were as good as some of the stuff I've done on Logic. And even since getting Logic early 2005, I'm still trying to find a perfect sound. I seem to be getting closer with every song, but I can only get so close using mostly freebie plugins. :-p I'm working on an electronic symphony at the moment, titled "Elämäni Musiikissa," Finnish for "My Life in Music."
Since most of my music works are too long to post on MySpace without severely sacrificing sound quality, I store them on MP3Unsigned.com .
