All of these I could rate #1 but if I had to rank them it would be, Sports, music, Politics. I need them all. And you could tie them all together and have the essence of life within
I'd like to meet:
MyHotComments
I'd like to meet people who are very conscience about whats happening today. And who are not affraid to voice their opinions. People in particular I'd like to meet are Jill Scott, Ice-T, Lou Dobbs, Howard Stern, Bill and Hillary, Bill Mahr, Al Micheals(nbc), the staff writers of The Wire, South Park, Family Guy, and The Simpsons. (they know things).Bill Russell, Tiger Woods, Rush Limbaugh(to slap him silly) The DJs of the left of the dial stations all over the contry that spin the records that commercial radio are just to damn scared to play. The underground DJs who keep the underground in the hole and a permanent part of the counter culture of American society. The Asshole owners, board members, program directors, scared DJs and the folks bringing in and accepting payola money to keep the whackness on OUR AIRWAVES. JackAsses the AIRWAVES DON'T BELONG TO YOU, THEY BELONG TO US. (someday we will take them back I guarentee it) The new President of The United States, to ask him/her, How are you going to get us out of this mess that is the Iraq war. Who's going to clean up our economy, and can you guys stop interfering and taking my hard earned money and using it for bullshit. "Serious" By The Rurals
Music:
When I was growing up in Baltimore, I remember on Saturday mornings we could here all kinds of music from rock, to jazz, to r&b, oldies, you name it we listen to it, and loved it. As I got older I always had dreams of doing big things in music. Reailized that I didn't have talent to play instruments, so I went to broadcasting school. After 3 years in the radio business, I soured on commercial radio that I grew up listening to. I think because it had changed through the years. It became at least at the station I was working at, "We play the hits we don't make the hits". What a suck ass concept. I thought that my program director was the laziest MF ever. All of this great music not being heard by the people is a shame. Well I was fired shortly after the we don't conversation and since that day I've been on a mission. I didn't know at the time that a 7 year stint in Atlanta would change my life. There I herd stations (not commercial)playing the so called B-Artist. And I said to myself, If only. Make a long story short, Im back here in Baltimore and Im trying to make a difference in radio, Internet that is...You reading this can help take back Your Airwaves by listening to
[email protected]. Doing that along with writing your local program directors and telling them that you are tired of the same ol same ol. You want more balance in the music. Not music and songs that mainstream artist make. How about some local artist who work just as hard and maybe have better songs. Anyway this is my dream to bring this to the forefront, and someday even commercial. Free Myspace Graphics
