I was born and raised on the California coast, so to me, any beach, seems like home. I'm happiest, when I’m at the beach. I did raise my children on a 25 acre farm, out in the sticks in Beavercreek, Oregon, so I do enjoy living out in the country.
At age 13, I was privileged enough to be allowed to attend the University Of California, at Berkeley, on a special Art Scholarship as a ‘child prodigy’. I have been a artist, most of my life, but realized at a young age, its very difficult to earn a living as artist,
(especially after my Father informed me, that the world was full of starving artist)
,I then focused on Medicine as a career, and made Art, my life passion.
A lifetime animal lover, I adore, all animals. I also enjoy music, and love to dance. To me, a perfect day, is sitting at the beach, (in good weather), and painting everything I see. In the middle 1990's, I started making movies as a hobbie. Filming, editing, and producing. I found, I loved the creative end of it all. My films won top state honors from 1995-2001. The creative side of film making is a lot like painting, something I can create from beginning to finish. I have published several medical papers through the years, and just recently started writing fiction, we shall see how that goes!
I'd like to meet:
I would love to meet, everyone!
Sane people are cool, (if there are any left in this world). Then again, whom is to say what is sane, and what isn’t! Real people!
Honesty is a real important factor with me. I love people who aren’t afraid to be themselves, rather then the majority of people out there, who spend all of their time trying to conform to societies picture of what a good person. I don’t like plastic people! I tend to recycle them.
I really do march to my own drum, ( and have taken a lot of slack in life because of it), I relish people who are able to do the same.
I like people in all age groups, walks of life. I usually don’t judge anyone !
But I do draw the line though, when it comes to drug users, or the dealers, whom feed on the very soul of humanity.
I’m referring to the bad boys of the drug world , and we all know what they are! Having witnessed first hand, many times over the death and destruction that drug use causes, its heart breaking! I find that I have zero tolerance, when it comes to that group of people, they are souless, they just aren’t for me!
Music:
Thankfully, the world is full of very talented artist, that share their souls through the music they create, what a blessing. I’m all over the place when it comes to music, I love it all! I have so many favorites, there just isn’t enough room to mention them all.
I do especially enjoy the up and coming new artist, those just getting started, what treasures you can find along the way. Music truly is the universal language.
Congratulations Steven, you rock! CD on sale now!

Movies:
Movies, well, again a tuff one for me to answer, cause I usually have a book in my hands. If I do sit down and watch one, its usually whatever my kids happen to be watching.(Which apparently I raised a group of Horror movie fanatics ) The only recent one I can think of is Rob Zombie’s Halloween, finally, Michael Meyers made sense! Alien series of movies were good, same with the Matrix series. X-men were cool, and Transformers were great! And thanks to my grandkids, Harry Potter (all five of them, over and over again)

Television:
TV, is a hard one for me to answer, mainly because, I hardly EVER watch it, I would much rather read, then be glued to the boob tube Not to say that there aren’t some really good shows on TV. I know that there are many people who due love watching TV, and I think that’s great, but for me, give me a warm fire, and a great book to read, and I’m more then happy.
Books:
I have been a avid reader since a very young age.( Even though my second grade teacher assured my parents, I would NEVER learn to read).
By age 12, I had literally devoured all of the classics. I have enjoyed everything from the Dead Sea Scrolls, to the latest books by Dan Brown. If I were to suggest some really great fantasy reading, I would encourage one and all to enter the world of Dark Hunters, by Sherrilyn Kenyon. Everything she puts to pen is a treasure. For Vampire lovers everywhere, J.R. Ward, J.R. Ward, J.R. Ward! She rocks the world. Her twist to the old legend is fantastic!. I find reading to be a wonderful way to enrich your life, and do encourage all young people to partake in finding authors that can hold their interest. With a book, you can travel the world, history and time. Experience, love and life, what a wonderful gift the Authers of the world share with us all!
Heroes:
According to Webster’s Dictionary:
"Hero noun (pl. heroes) a person, “typically a manâ€, who is admired for their courage or outstanding achievements."
Well O.K.!
I have known people who are heroic ,in their actions,I have seen people lay down their lives to save the life of a stranger. But are they heroes ? I really don’t know. Doesn’t it all really come down to courage.
To me, Courage consists not in blindly overlooking danger, but in seeing it, and conquering it.
Some times every stranger we meet, is full of courage, and is somebody's hero
Be a Hero!
