To Each His Own

About Me

I'm originally from St. Joseph, Michigan, a small town on the coast of Lake Michigan. It's beautiful place to visit; especially in the summer. Since I finished college I've lived in Paris, Chicago, Madison, WI, and now Pittsburgh. My husband Tim grew up here and we always talked about moving back. We're SO happy to be in the Burg! It's a great city with a rich history and TONS of potential. There are lots of really interesting neighborhoods with their own special flavor. Some of my favorites are South Side, Lawrenceville, Bloomfield, and Shady Side. Pittsburgh also has a pretty low cost of living so we can enjoy a nice life style here.
I am an experienced Realtor specializing in condominiums, "green" construction, and rehabs. As a Buyer's agent I help find my clients find an exceptional home by previewing properties. As a Seller's agent I make suggestions and even help clients select simple updates to help you maximize your resale potential.I focus primarily on South Side and Lawrenceville but if you are looking to buy or sell a distinctive property give me a call.
I have experience with:
Mid century Moderns Classic Victorians Contemporaries Row Houses Sustainable Building Materials
I also work on two of the only "green" housing communities in Pittsburgh. Windom Hill Place and Riverside Mews. Both are located in South Side and are Engergy Star rated, expectionally designed, and truly original. Recycled and sustainable building materials were used throughout the process. Also, the use of low VOC paints, caulks, and adhesives makes the living environment much healthier for the occupants.
More About Me:
I really enjoy learning new cities and meeting new people. I love traveling and have been to 13 countries.
I think some of the best things in life are: dinner at a fabulous restaurant, my parents' front porch, a great martini, sitting at a cafe in Paris, an afternoon spent shopping with a girlfriend or my mom, a smile from my husband, finishing a marathon, a book that makes you cry, sunrise in Tahiti.
